Schiaparelli Exhibition

Inspired by the Gucci Cosmos exhibition in London in 2023, the creative concept for luxury fashion house Schiaparelli, if they were to have an exhibition at the National Gallery. The idea is to create a sculpture that uses the house's design codes but is still an ode to London. The fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square is a space for artists to show off their sculptures and the perfect opportunity for Schiaparelli to create a unique version that sticks to the brand's whimsical, artistic & surreal approach yet still links to London and one of the National Gallery's most iconic cultural signifiers.

The Fourth Plinth is probably the most famous public art commission in the world. The Mayor of London’s Fourth Plinth programme has invited leading artists to make sculptures for the plinth.

To connect to the spirit of London & within prime view of the exhibition location, the installation will be a replica of the iconic London bus stop but feature the iconic black & gold detailing of the Schiaparelli brand.
