TEST is designed with extra weights on both shoulders, which adds another layer of meaning. The thickness of the material represents the resilience required to face societal pressures, challenges, and expectations. The weights on both shoulders symbolize the burdens placed on those who are effected by colourism and are instantly relieved when the piece is removed. Through the story woven into its very fabric, TEST aims to empower wearers who experience colourism, helping them feel understood, empowered, and confident in their own skin.
