Inspired by tough times, vulnerable moments and hitting rock bottom. The pennies armour represents the little protection women have when they have very little money. Weak, fragile and barely enough to shield herself from further harm, this piece was made to show this fragile vulnerability through wear.
The photos tell the story of how this damsel was able to leave her dark situation using the little money she’s armoured herself with in the hopes of finding a brighter future for herself.
